Predictably, yet still regrettably, altLAN will not be going ahead in October. The wait goes on for the 7th altLAN Gaming Weekender.

Details and dates for spring and late summer/autumn 2021 will be announced when we have them – as before, ticket purchases are being carried forward, but refunds can be arranged if you’d prefer.

altLAN is a gaming weekender – a 48 hour party – unlike any other LAN you have been to. Our events are designed to fulfil the need for a social-focused LAN event in the UK. We’re not about big prize money FPS or MOBA tourneys or intense competitions; altLAN is about fun, friends, food, games and, of course, DRINK! Naturally, our events are for over 18s only.

Everyone who attends will be entered into the roll call for stage games. These small, fun competitions run throughout the weekend and include games such as a Super Smash Bros knockout and high score wins on Trials HD.

Nothing is taken too seriously and everything we do is for laughs (and drink).

All tickets include the following:

  • A desk with power and network access (internet access)
  • Cooked breakfast on Sat and Sun morning
  • A bed in a shared bedroom (single bed size, bunk bed)
  • Indoor Showers
  • Access to a kitchen
  • The option to bring a tent and camp if you prefer
  • Entrance into all the competitions
  • Sat night Quiz Show
  • Free Parking

altLAN is an over 18s, bring your own drink event. We pride ourselves on offering a relaxed environment, where chilled out socialising with like minded people is as common place as playing and watching games.
